Sloppy Joes


4 lb hamburger
1/2 c celery
3 tbsp. mustard
1/3 c. Worcestershire
Brown sugar
1 green pepper
3 small onions
2 cans tomato soup
1/2 tsp chili powder
Tomato juice

Brown hamburger. Add onions, pepper and celery. Add remaining ingredients and simmer. Serve warm on hamburger buns. Make 25 sloppy Joes.

Haylee’s Note:
I used to HATE sloppy Joes. But I had this recipe when I was at girls’ camp and my friend Lara Taylor (now Johnson) taught me to load it with chips! Ever since I have loved sloppy Joes! I love that they are so easy to make—especially when you are cooking for a large group!
