Pineapple Upside Down French Toast



PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN FRENCH TOAST
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
10 oz. drained crushed pineapple
2 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 c. milk
6 thick slices of bread

Melt butter and stir in sugar and pineapple until sugar is dissolved. In a bowl whisk eggs, milk, and salt. In a 9x13 spread pineapple over bottom. Dip bread in milk. Mix and arrange in one layer on top o pineapple. Bake at 400 for 20-25 min. Serve with powdered sugar.

Haylee’s Note:
I got this recipe from my mom a long time ago, and I have always wanted to try it. I was surprised how fast and easy this was, and it was really good too! Darin loved it, and he isn’t a huge fan of “baked pineapple.” We will definitely be doing this one again.
