1 bag pasta (macaroni or shells) 1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. milk 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 c. sour cream 3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 tsp. dried parsley Salt and pepper to taste
Boil pasta. In a separate pan mix butter, milk and flour over medium heat to make a roux. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Drain pasta add and to cheesy sauce. Serve warm.
Haylee’s Note: I totally made up this recipe, and I thought it turned out pretty good. I would like to do more experimenting with “mac and cheese” because there are so many yummy looking recipes out there.
