Carmel Syrup


1 c sugar
1 square butter
1/2 tsp soda
1/3 c. buttermilk
2 tbsp. karo

Boil 5-7 min. until it changes color and add 1 tsp vanilla

This syrup is one of my favorites!! You can serve it on waffles, pancakes, ice-cream, or anything else you want (even just in a spoon). I like it the very best on pancakes with whipped cream and pecans! Mmmm!!! SOOO good!! Give it a try!!
