1 can whole water chestnuts 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/4 c. sugar 8 slices bacon, cut in half
Let the water chestnuts marinate in the soy for 2 hours. Then roll the waterchestnuts in sugar. Wrap the chestnuts tight with bacon and secure with a toothpick. Broil at 400 turning occasionally for 20 minutes or until the bacon is cooked. Serve warm.
