Bacon and Water Chestnuts


1 can whole water chestnuts
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. sugar
8 slices bacon, cut in half

Let the water chestnuts marinate in the soy for 2 hours. Then roll the waterchestnuts in sugar. Wrap the chestnuts tight with bacon and secure with a toothpick. Broil at 400 turning occasionally for 20 minutes or until the bacon is cooked. Serve warm.

I can’t write a review for how yummy these are! My mom makes these ever once in a while for appetizers. They are so simple, yet they taste amazing! Give them a try, you’ll be glad you did!
