1 lb (2 1/4 cups) green split peas 1 large onion, peeled and chopped 1 large carrot, chopped 2 large potatoes pealed and chopped Salt and Pepper Splash of Worcestershire sauce
Boil split peas for 1-2 hours until soft. Boil the rest of the vegetables until soft. Puree all ingredients in blender until smooth. Season to taste.
Haylee’s Note: This soup is really easy, and delicious on a cold day with a warm slice of homemade wheat bread! My family also likes to add ham, me not so much. But, we did add a little sour cream to ours and that was a tasty change!
