Meat Loaf


2 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. bread crumbs
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. grated carrot
1/4 c chopped onion
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 can mushroom soup
1/4 c water

Mix well. Massage ingredients into meat. Pour into loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until meat is evenly cooked. (I also like to pour ketchup on top before baking.)

Haylee's Note:
I like to serve this with squash, baked potatoes, and salad. In this picture, the baked potato is topped with sour cream and scallions. Instead of squash, I did sautéed zucchini and onions topped with parmesan cheese.
