Grandma Welling's Apple Cake

GRANDMA WELLING'S APPLE CAKE

Cream:
½ c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. sugar

Add:
2 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. grated apples
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. chopped nuts

Bake at 375 for 30-40 min.

Sauce- Boil and serve over the top
2/3 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
¼ c. flour
½-1 can milk
