HAYLEE'S RICE PUDDING2 c. cooked rice
1 c. vitamin D milk
1 1/2 c sugar (add sugar to taste)
1 tbs. vanilla
2 tbs. butter
2 tbs. cornstarch
2 tbs. cinnamon
1/4 c. raisins
Boil raisins for 1 min. Set aside. Put rice, milk, sugar, vanilla, and butter into a pan. Bring to a boil. Mix cornstarch and water until there are no lumps. Add to pan. Take off the heat. Add cinnamon and raisins. Let cool, but serve while warm.
Haylee's Note:
I had a recipe for rice pudding, but I didn't follow it at all, and this is what I got! I thought it turned out pretty yummy! I think we will have this more often because we eat a lot of rice, but always have left overs.
