1 c sugar
1 beaten egg
1 tsp almond extract
2 1/2 c flour

Cream butter, Crisco, and sugar. Add the egg, extract and flour and cream to a nice soft dough. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and then press into a tart shell.
Bake in a 375 oven for 8-10 minutes

are so many ways you can fill these tarts.
My favorite it to fill the shell with a little dark chocolate, then fill
it with vanilla pudding with a little extra almond extract (but I think that
grand marnier would be AMAZING in this…if you use cooked pudding for all the Mormons
out there), then top with fresh berries and mint! Oh man!
