Heather’s Easy Key Lime Pie


HEATHER’S EASY KEY LIME PIE

Crust:

1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted

Layer 1:
6 oz cream cheese
1 c. whipped cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar

Layer 2
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 small package vanilla pudding
1 c. lime juice
1 1/2 tsp lime zest
8 oz. cool whip

In a small bowl, combine the crumbs and sugar; add butter and blend well. Press down for the crust into a spring-form pan. Next, in a separate bowl mix all ingredients for layer 2 until smooth. Pour onto the crust. Next, mix ingredients for layer 2 until smooth. Pour over the first layer. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. You can garnish is lime wedges and dollops of whip cream.

Every time my sister makes this for any event everyone always raves!! When she suggested I make it for a dinner party I was having I was REALLY intimidated because it seems so intense! However, after I made it, I realized that it is a super easy recipe, but it is also super delicious!! Hope you enjoy it as much as our family does!!
